Kfibre is virgin sugarcane prebiotic fibre, freshly harvested and manufactured to retain phytonutrients and intact cell wall vegetable fibre.

Kfibre is 100% Sugarcane Fibre (95% Sucrose removed) which has a composition of < 87% fibre. The other 13% is natural sugars, waxes, minerals, vitamins, plants sterols and antioxidants.

We recommend starting with the Sensitive Gut table below. This is a guide only; you can start with the 1 teaspoon for the 1-14 days if you like. Drop back to the ½ teaspoon or ¼ teaspoon if needed and follow the 28-day program.

Non-GMO and Pesticide Free

Kfibre is certified non-GMO. Kfibre is tested in the field before and during harvest and after processing (3 x 5 times per batch) for pesticides Kfibre Spec are Nil-detection of agricultural residues including all pesticides and herbicides.

Your gut needs butyrate for health, and it’s made by the gut microbiome. Gut bacteria produce butyrate, an important short-chain fatty acid that supports digestive health, helps control inflammation, and even aids in preventing disease. Butyrate is the main energy source for colonocytes, the cells which make up your gut lining.

Kfibre is fermented at a more uniform rate and produces much higher proportions of Butyrate and other SCFA’s than just soluble fibre through the whole length of the colon.

Kfibre being a complex dietary fibre feeds a multitude of different types of “good bugs”.

Psyllium husk is the dried mucus covering of the psyllium flower, with 90% of the product grown and harvested in India, it is a gel-forming soluble fibre, which picks up bile through the gut and has some good results with LDL cholesterol reduction, as a gel it also has some results with constipation.

It is classed as a low fermenter for SCFA’s it only ferments in the foregut and has no roughage to stimulate the hindgut which has been neglected with the over processing of today’s foods. Psyllium also comes with the warning not to consume 2 hours before or after meals and medication as a gel it picks up nutrition and medication.

Kfibre is a whole of plant complex FSANZ/FDA dietary fibre/prebiotic made from Sugarcane with 95% of the sugar removed, University research and customer feedback has shown that it is good for the relief of dietary indigestion, weight loss and microbiome support.

As a plant based product it is also good for constipation, Kfibre contains as much complex fibre benefits as two servings of Fruit or vegetables but without the sugar and like your servings of Fruit and vegetables Kfibre contains minerals and trace vitamins as well as more of the antioxidants Polycosanol and Flavonoids than green tea.

Trials have also shown that Kfibre produces Short Chain Fatty Acids the full length of the Colon including large amounts of butyric acid as well as delivering roughage to stimulate the hind gut.

Kfibre has a slight grass smell, but no taste. If does have a mouth feel as it is a “insoluble” fibre. It will not dissolve, but it will soften if left for a few minutes before drinking.

Prebiotics are the non-digestible fibre components of food that stimulate the growth of good bacteria in the gut. However, not all fibre is prebiotic. To be classified as a prebiotic, the fibre must pass through the gastrointestinal tract undigested and stimulate the growth and/or activity of certain ‘good’ bacteria in the large intestine.

Studies have shown increasing your intake of complex functional and prebiotic fibres can improve your weight loss efforts as part of a healthy diet and exercise routine.

The National Health and Medical Research Council recommend that women and men consume at least 25g and 30g of fibre per day, respectively. The consensus amongst researchers is that 5g per day is need, 1 serving of Kfibre contains 1 gram of prebiotic or 20% of your daily dose.
